Terms and Conditions
The legal framework governing our transportation, forwarding, and logistics services. Transparency is our priority.
1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging with the services provided by Bay Distributions LLC, you're agreeing to be bound by these legal parameters. Whether we're handling a single local delivery or a complex multi-state forwarding contract, these rules apply to our professional relationship. Don't worry, we've kept things straightforward.
2. Scope of Service
Our team provides logistics, transport, and warehousing solutions tailored to your cargo needs. We act as both a direct carrier and a freight forwarder. Why does this matter? Because it defines our liability under standard transit laws. We'll always notify you of the specific capacity in which we're acting for each shipment.
3. Limits of Liability
Logistics involves movement, and movement involves risk. While our safety record is stellar, we must clearly state that liability for cargo loss or damage is limited per industry standards. Unless a higher valuation is declared in writing and additional fees are paid, our liability generally follows the established tariff rates. Our drivers are professionals, but we recommend third-party insurance for high-value transits.
4. Payment Terms
Standard payment terms are net 15 days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise specified in your contract. Late fees may apply to balances exceeding 30 days. We believe in fair pricing and clear communication—no hidden fuel surcharges or surprise handling fees here. Have you reviewed your latest quote recently?
5. Warehousing Guidelines
For items stored at our Vallejo facility at 134 MONITOR PASS COURT, specific climate and safety protocols are in place. Access is strictly controlled to ensure the security of all freight transportation assets. We don't allow unauthorized entry to our loading docks under any circumstances.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from our transportation services will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Vallejo or Solano County. We've been operating here for years and respect local jurisdiction.
